Kate Morrow was born in Montana and grew up amidst the beautiful desert landscape of Arizona. There her fascination with intricate adornments, vintage collectibles and buttons began.
Resurrect opened it’s doors in September 2012 on beautiful Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, California. Resurrect is a mix of vintage clothing and home goods, but also features handmade clothing, art, and jewelry from artists and designers from the West Coast. Being a seamstress herself, Kate wants to provide a platform for emerging artists and designers. Much of the artwork showcased uses recycled materials or is created with sustainability in mind. Kate also has her sewing workshop in the store, so you can come and see her at work on new designs.
